Boba gave me the opportunity to review the Boba 4G Baby Carrier for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

I am still new to the babywearing thing but I am falling in love with it! This feels a lot like my obsession with my cloth diaper stash! When I find something awesome and everyone else is not doing it; I just want to share the awesomeness with them!

There is so much to love about babywearing. Some of my top reasons I love it are: I’m able to complete task while comforting and holding my baby, no need for a bulky stroller when we are out, I’m able to keep my hands on or help my other 2 children if needed, and I just like the feel of him in his comfy baby carrier too!

SONY DSC

The first baby carrier I bought was an inexpensive one ($25). I thought it was OK; it did it’s job but it did not feel like it was going to hold up overtime and my baby and I were not completely comfortable.  I had heard a lot of wonderful things about Boba baby carriers and had put of buying them because of the price. Now I see that the price is definitely justified because of the quality of materials and the overall design of the carrier. Also, the Boba 4G Baby Carrier can be used from 7 lbs to 45 lbs. Anything that can last that long is worth a few extra bucks!

Boba 4G Carrier is Awesome!

The quality is top notch! Your baby will be safe and this baby carrier will hold up over time! It is so easy to use and will fit parents of any size and shape.

The shoulder straps were padded well and were very easy to adjust. All the straps were easy to adjust and have good quality buckles. Even one of the straps on the side are adjustable to make it easier for breastfeeding.

The design is great. It is designed to hug your child and it has your child’s hips correct to avoid hip dysplasia. It even comes with foot straps to help support your child’s knees and hips.

I love that it can be  used for such a wide range of baby sizes! You can see when I was testing it out I had my lovely nieces to help me demonstrate! I held my 40lb niece easily on my back and it felt so comfortable! It really distributed her weight great!  Recently, I was able to walk a trail with my 3 year old son on my back. He loved it and I felt good and comfortable the entire time I was carrying him.

I love the Boba carriers – I tried on so many different ones trying to see which ones fit better with my shorter torso and this was by far the most comfortable one, plus it’s great for ergonomics compared with others like the popular Babybjorn. Would love to win this new version for sure! 🙂

These look absolutely amazing! I’d love one in SoHo print. It would be wonderful to be hands free carrying #4 so I could take care of kids 1-3. Sometimes I feel like she’s a little neglected in our hectic household, this way she could be by me all the time!

The patterns are so cheery and it “grows” with you as your baby grows and works with child from 7 to 45 pounds. Having your hands free for fixing a part of dinner in the morning is one of the functions I like, because as a mother of twins, there’s always something going on. And if I did something towards dinner, I felt like it was a good day.

I have a used Boba 1G and LOVE it with my 2 and 4 year olds. I am expecting again and want to get the 4G to use with a newborn. I love my wrap and ring sling, but I am now hooked on the SSC for the ease of use. My kids tolerate it so much better and it distributes the weight on my back so much better.

Thank you for writing such an honest, thorough review of the Boba 4G. I love that this carrier would allow me to tackle daily tasks without having to sacrifice the bond between my son and I. I’d go with Pine – organic because of the organic aspect and its neutral colors – perfect for any gender!

Having a truck as my main vehicle with 2 car seats in it there is no room for a stroller and for it to travel in the back is no good if by chance there is rain and plus just the air dirt from traveling in the back. I have always wanted either a Boba or a Beco which would be much more quicker to put on than my BabyHawk which I do like but some times I hate when I’m out and it’s rainy, wet, yucky out the long straps are just begging to drag all on the nasty ground before wrapping around my baby and me.
