rays of bliss has teamed up with Dr. Cool Recovery to give TWO Lucky readers a chance to win a Dr. Cool Recovery-On-The-Go Wrap! They are giving a way 1 Large Wrap ($39.99 value) and 1 Small Wrap ($24.99 value)! Dr. Cool wraps would be a perfect gift for the Dad or Grad who doesn’t let an injury slow them down. Dr. Cool’s mission, “So people can recover more quickly and conveniently to get back to doing what they love!”
Dr. Cool Recovery-On-The-Go wrap is the first wrap to combine ice and compression in one flexible wrap and provides on-the-go relief so your Dad, Grads or you can stay active and it is chemical-free! Dr. Cool wraps can be used as a dry compression wrap to support and protect various body parts during activities, or frozen to combine cold and compression to reduce swelling and speed recovery mid or post activity.
The chemical-free wrap is available in three sizes: 3″ x 25″ ($24.99), 4″ x 50″ ($29.99), 6″ x 50″ ($39.99) accommodating any body part that needs cold therapy or simply a compression wrap to support ailments and it comes in 7 beautiful colors!
I was sent 1 large and 2 medium Dr. Cool wraps to try. I was very impressed and they worked great! I think this is an awesome product and a great design and technology! I really like that they only take 20 minutes to freeze, they don’t drip and are not bulky. Dr. Cool has patented chemical-free cooling technology that stays ice cold longer than other ordinary fabrics. They stay cold, below 40 degrees Fahrenheit, for twenty minutes when applied directly to the skin. This is the temperature and length of time doctors recommend for ice therapy, so you don’t have to worry about over-icing, which can be harmful. Just wet it, freeze it, and then wrap it for long lasting relief. When I tried these out they did stay cold for the 20 minutes.
The Dr. Cool wraps are easy to put on yourself with the hook & loop (velcro); it is a good quality and sticks together well. The small and medium size wraps even have a hole that is an anchor to put your knee cap, elbow or thumb through at one end to make wrapping your injury easy. If you have any questions about how to wrap any injury you can check out Dr. Cool’s short and informative YouTube videos.
How-To Wrap Your Knee with Dr. Cool Video:
My husband does Taekwondo and has been using the Dr. Cool wraps during his classes. Everyone that sees these awesome wraps wants to try them for themselves and they want to get one! They really are a genius idea for people who practice and work through their injuries.
Not just for athletes:
I have issues with my wrist. It’s called mommy’s wrist, pain, tenderness, and swelling over the thumb side of the wrist, and difficulty gripping. Some days I have no issues or pain but other days it feels like I sprained my wrist and I have severe pain. The Dr. Cool Wrap is perfect for those bad days! I like to wear this much better then my brace because it does both ice and compress!
I even used it on my 4 year old son when he feel down and hurt his arm. It was a lot more comfortable for him then an ice pack, which are often too cold for little ones. It was the best I have ever seen a little kid leave on an ice wrap or pack!
Dr. Cool wraps are the perfect solution for anyone who hates to ice their injuries, because ice packs are too cold, they hate getting wet or hate being stuck in chair while they ice!
With the Dr. Cool wraps you conveniently ice and compress your injury on-the-go and anywhere! From busy moms to cross-fit enthusiasts, it’s the best way to recover without having to stop your busy life. Don’t let injuries slow you down!
