We try to keep a stock pile for just in case moments. When I was a teenager, my home town had an ice storm so bad that we didn’t have water or electricity for 3 weeks! We had to boil icicles for drinking water and the stores couldn’t get more supplies in because of the iced roads and fallen trees. That taught me to always be prepared for the unexpected!
