We started a garden in raised beds using reclaimed lumber. We use a rain barrel for watering with a timer backup for vacations/out-of-town trips. I am cooking from scratch more, which means less prepackaged boxes/bags for the family. The boys are responsible for sorting and placing recycling curbside every week.
