We are eating less meat, we just ordered glass straws, we are using cloth diapers from day 1 with our baby that is due in july, I recently made reusable “boogie wipes” so we don’t use Kleenex anymore, and we’re trying to buy less plastic, especially one time use products.

We compost all our non-meat kitchen scraps. It is so easy and helps the garden so much!! We also sort out our cans, glass, and most paper and take it to the recycler (no curbside service for recycling here in the country). It doesn’t take much to make a difference!!

I am putting a bucket under my tap to catch all water (like running until hot to wash dishes) and use it in my washing machine. I catch rain water to water my garden and plants, and I hang all laundry out to dry.
