On my quest to find quality and handcrafted gifts for my children and family this year I discoverd Käthe Kruse, a German company that offers the finest handcrafted dolls and soft baby and toddler toys. They have been making dolls since 1905 and Käthe Kruse does not mass-produce products but they are individually handmade, giving them their typical Kruse charm.
Käthe Kruse sent me their Cara Mello towel doll to review. Cara Mello is an adorable monkey towel doll with a hand-embroidered face and wears a colorful knit neckerchief. The towel doll is one of the original Käthe Kruse products. Towel dolls are great for babies, even newborns, they can be used at bedtime or taken on outings to soothe baby anywhere. The Cara Mello is made of cotton and microfiber and easy to care for. It retails for $24.95.
The Cara Mello is very soft and well made. It feels like it will hold up very well. I think the Cara Mello is such a cute towel doll and would be a great gift for any baby on your list!
