Keep Light Out and Save Energy with Blackout Curtains

Can't Sleep try Black out Curtains from LushDecor

This is a sponsored post written by me for Lush Decor. All opinions are 100% my own.

We all know how important getting a good nights rest is but it can be difficult if you do not create an atmosphere to promote good sleep.  One way to disturb sleep is unwanted light creeping in from outside.  Whether, you sleep during the day or artificial light outside is getting into your room, blackout curtains can really help.  Blackout curtains not only keep out unwanted light but also help keep out noise and save energy by trapping heat when it’s cold out and keeping light and heat out during the hot months.

Lush Decor offers a great selection of blackout curtains at an affordable price; you will find a style and print that will match and compliment your room decor.  You will find current trends, like Chevron prints, and timeless prints, like the Sophie paisley pattern.  Check out their entire selection HERE.

Disclosure: I received the payment for this post. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

  1. I sometimes sleep during the day. These would be a big help. Thanks for the info.

  2. I get migraines.. and the tiniest bit of light streaming in is so painful when I have one. These would be great.. they are so stylish and they aren’t the heavy plain dark black out curtains I usually see.

  3. It’s not only practical, these curtains look also great.

  4. I use blackout curtains too. They were especially important when I lived up north (the sun rose at 3:30 and it wasn’t fully dark until 11 something).

  5. I would need these when I have trouble sleeping. They are also attractive.
