Welcome to Organic Caboose - Organic and Eco-friendly baby products, cloth diapers, organic diaper covers, nursing pads, organic nursing pillows, organic bedding, organic blankets and more!

I personally love Cloth Diapers for a ton of reasons. You can check out my post Benefits of cloth diapering. Also, if you did not know, Cloth Diapering is addictive!  I am always looking for new products and checking out new cloth diaper companies. So when I came across Organic Caboose I was so happy because they mix my love for Cloth Diapers and Eco-friendly organic products perfectly! Also, all their products for baby, family, and home are manufactured and sourced in the USA!

I do not own any fitted diapers so I was excited at the opportunity to try this one out! The good people at Organic Caboose were generous enough to send me an Organic Aplix Fitted Diaper to review and share my honest opinion with you.

Organic Aplix Fitted Diaper

From their Website:

Lusciously soft and absorbent organic cotton! Superb convenience and versatility. Snap down front for adjustable rise. Easy aplix velcro closure for quick fastening. Fold-back tabs for easy washing. (Diaper cover required.) Made in USA.

Fitted Diapers are a popular diaper option for Cloth Diaper Mama and Papas. They are the most absorbent and leak-proof diapering option; so they are ideal for heavy wetters and overnights.  Fitted Diapers are not waterproof and do require the use of a diaper cover. So you can use wool, bamboo, fleece, and other materials. Organic Caboose offers several Covers.

My first impression of this new fitted diaper was, “Man, that is super soft!” I was tempted to rub it up against my face! I knew it would be super comfortable on my little guy’s tush! Also, the middle section felt thick and like it can hold a lot of liquid.

Features:

High quality organic cotton. Very soft and absorbent!

Easy to use Velcro. I personally prefer Velcro over snaps, but everyone is different. The Velcro on this diaper looks like good quality and I like that it has the fold-back tabs. This helps a lot when washing so your Velcro doesn’t stick to anything else.

I got the Large size diaper for 20lbs-40 lbs (Also available in small 10lbs-20lbs). Both feature snaps to adjust the rise. Again, very easy to use.

My thoughts:

I really do like the Organic Aplix Fitted Diaper. Being totally new to fitted diapers this one won me over! I now wish I had more fitted diapers like this one in my stash! I think they are ideal for long trips or overnights with a wool cover. They really held up well for me and have had no leaks or blow outs.  I will continue to use this diaper until my son outgrows it or is potty trained and I plan on adding more to my stash.

Looks super cute! I love fitteds with velcro – it’s so much easier to get the perfect fit on them 🙂 Thanks for sharing your review on this diaper!
