Disclosure:  I received a set of Woolzies Dryer Balls
for free from the sponsor in exchange for my honest opinion.
Woolzies Dryer Balls Review on rays of bliss

I have actually been using Woolzies Dryer Balls since January of this year, and I love them. When I was contacted to do a review and giveaway I jumped at the chance to share this great product with my readers!

Back in January, on my families quest to eliminate chemicals in our house we discovered that most commercial dryer liquids and sheets contain harsh chemicals which are toxic to the environment and people.  My husband and I started to look for alternatives for dryer sheets and we discovered  that Woolzies was exactly what we needed!
Here are a few reasons we chose Woolzies Dryer Balls.

  • LASTS FOR 1,000 LOADS
  • Softens Naturally
  • Reduces Drying Time by 25%
  • Reduces static
  • Helps eliminate wrinkles
  • Chemical free
  • Safe for people with wool sensitivities

Now, I had my doubts on all these claims. How can 6 wooly balls do all this? and Would it actually help reduce static? Well, Yes it does all that they claim and really do work! Like I said I have owned my set since January (8-10 loads a week) and they are holding up great and still have life left in them! They really do naturally soften and reduce static too!

Woolzies Dryer Balls Review on rays of bliss

How it works:
Toss your 6 Woolzie Dryer Balls in each load and they will bounce around in your dryer. This will be a bit noisy, but you will get use to it! The balls naturally separate and create space between your laundry, thereby allowing the hot dryer air to circulate better.  This will cut down on drying time by about 25% in large loads and as much as 35-40% in small loads. This of course saves both time and money for you and energy for the environment!

Also, we do not have any wool allergies in my house but Woolzies states they are safe for people with wool sensitivities.

Since the wool is not directly touching your skin and does not shed, everyone can use WOOLZIES without any allergic reactions.

Have fun playing “Find the Woolzies Ball!”:

I should disclose you will be hunting for Woolzies ball in each load you wash, but I totally make it game! Here’s a hint, when you wash fitted sheets they will always be in the corners! I think searching for Woolzies Dryer Balls in each load is a small price to pay for the money and energy saved. As well as, the fact you will be reducing your families exposure to the Yucky chemicals found in commercial dryer sheets and softeners.

I highly recommend Woolzies Dry Balls because they are Eco-friendly, chemical free, and will save you money!

We have a very old dryer that I KNOW is sucking electricity but can’t afford a dryer at this point. I hope next year. Anyway, I love that this will reduce the time I run that old piece of poo 🙂

My friend was just telling me about these! Thanks for the before and after pictures of yours after 9 months. I definitely want to get some of these for cloth diapering but also for all laundry to reduce static. It’s also perfect because I can’t use dryer sheets (sensitive skin). thanks!

I don’t use dryer sheets because of the chemicals in them. This would be great to make my clothes softer without chemicals.

These look fantastic! I retired my old dryer balls as my clothes were coming out with grease spots after using them. These look like a great alternative. Thanks!
