This post is sponsored by BuyGreen. I received a complimentary backpack in order to facilitate this review.

I think having a good backpack is essential in your back-to-school shopping. Especially for older kids with all those books to haul around. You want a backpack that will hold up all year long and possibly a couple more school years! Well, Instinctive Approaching Backpacks are definitely made to hold up over time!

Instinctive Approaching Backpacks

As you know I try my best to buy Eco-friendly products and this backpack is very Eco-friendly. It is made of 100 % Recycled Fabrics and Hardware Features, has Rubberized NON toxic and waterproof coating on underside of body fabric, and up to 3% of sales are donated to The Wild Foundation!

This backpack also has great features.
– 2 large compartments
– Padded laptop sleeve (fits most 15 laptops)
– Ergonomic back panel & shoulder straps
– Removable cell phone pocket
– Side cargo pockets
– Organizer
– Reinforced base panel for durability
– YKK Zippers – premium quality
– 100% recycled 600 D Polyester, hardware and webbing
– Rubberized NON toxic and waterproof coating on underside of body fabric
– Dimensions 18in (h) x 13in (w) x 7.5in (d)

I really like the straps because they are wider then most and also padded. This makes it very comfortable to wear and carry! The entire bag feels well padded and  it will protect a labtop or any of your possessions. Also, all the hardware and zippers are very sturdy and high quality.

Okay, that is just awesome. I mean, I have made a point to only purchase green cleaning products and so forth but this is amazing. Thank you!

My son is only a year old, so we don’t have a school-age kid in our house. But this looks like it would be perfect for camping, being so durable and all.

I like the looks of those wide, well-padded straps. Would love to get some of these for our family trip this fall. One for each of our 6 children! Anne at Zephyr Hill Blog

Those ergonomic straps are so important. Carrying all those school books can get very heavy!

I love how “cool” it looks – definitely doesnt appear to be made from recycled goods – with kids, looks are important so I love that it looks so ordinary.

What is really great is that helping the environment that we live in is a lesson I try to teach my children, and my child can wear that lesson back to school! How cool is that?

Those do look like a good brand. I generally get my boy’s backpacks on clearance. I got $50 Skullcandy ones for $15. Then I switch out a sew patch, so they use it for more than one year.

I LOVE that these are made of recycled materials and at such a reasonable price. We’ve always gotten ours on sale also and used the for more than one year. I’d prefer this option, but wonder about how long they’ll last.
