I made the decision to make my own baby food for my baby boy. I started looking into good options for containers and baby food containers that would be good on-the-go.  I came across the Little Green Pouch and wanted to give them a try!  The Little Green Pouch provided me with a 4-pack of the reusable Little Green Pouches for free in exchange for my honest my opinion. Also, they will be giving a Little Green Pouch (4-Pack) – Reusable Food Pouches ($14.99 retail) to one lucky reader!

The Little Green Pouch is a reusable food pouch that’s BPA and phthalate free; easy to fill and seal securely by means of a handy zipper; dishwasher and freezer safe. The Little Green Pouch offers many features that I love! Also, my whole family actually ended up using these great reusable pouches!

Features:

The back of the pouch has easy to read fill lines. Which are very useful when filling them. Also, there is a place to write your name on the bottom. I think this is very good for taking it to daycare or school.

Little Green Pouch Review The Little Green Pouch is Freezer and Dishwasher Safe. These are 2 must have features for me! I have to be able to freeze my homemade baby food because I make big batches and I have to be able to wash in the dishwasher….because I hate hand washing dishes!!! But, if you have to they are super simple to hand wash. Just soaking them in hot water gets it clean and the spout is easy to clean too!

Little Green Pouch Freezer and Dishwasher Safe

The Little Green Pouches are super simple to fill! I use a spoon to fill but you can get a funnel or a dispensing pitcher. Little Green Pouch offers both. You can fill with anything you can easily squeeze out! I fill with applesauce, yogurt, pudding, and of course baby food! The press zipper is very secure and makes opening and closing very easy.Little Green Pouch Easy to Fill They are designed to stand up easily. You can see in the picture how the bottom is designed.

They are great for on-the-go! I just take them out of the freezer or fridge and toss them in my diaper bag. I also use them in my 6 year old son’s lunch! Who needs to buy those non-reusable squeeze yogurts…not me!

They are of course Easy to Eat! My 3 year old loves to just eat them right out of the pouch. My 7 month old is still to small for that so I squeeze his food in a bowl and spoon feed him. There are dispensing spoons on the market that work with them.

Little Green Pouch (4-Pack) - Reusable Food Pouches

When I got the Little Green Pouch I thought it was for the baby, but now my whole family uses them! They are great and I love that they are reusable! My family is always looking for little ways to be “greener” and the Little Green Pouch does that!
